Ingredients
Prime Rib
Seasoning of Choice - Salt and Pepper
Directions
Bring your roast to room temperature, season with salt and pepper.
Bake in oven at 125 degrees for three to four hours.
Let rest out of oven for 15 minutes.
Bake again at 550 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes (until it reaches your desired internal temperature or about 145 degrees)
cooking tips
Plan for about a half pound of meat per person when purchasing beef.
Although referred to as "Prime Rib" many Rib roasts are USDA Choice grade which is still an excellent cut of meat.
Use cooking ties or butchers twine to keep the roast in shape
Seasoning - You can be creative with seasoning and add minced garlic or rosemary too or use your favorite steak or all purpose seasoning.
